New on CTAN: cluttex
This is yet another tool for automation of LaTeX document processing, like latexmk. The main feature of this tool is that it does not clutter your working directory with .aux or .log or other auxiliary files. Of course, it has common features for automation tool: It automatically re-runs (La)TeX for cross-references. MakeIndex or BibTeX will be executed if an option is set. It can watch input files for changes (with an external program).
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/cluttex The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/support/cluttex/
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Petra Rübe-Pugliese

cluttex – An automation tool for running LaTeX
The main feature of this tool is that it does not clutter your working directory with .aux or .log or other auxiliary files.
It has of course the usual features of automation tools: It automatically re-runs (La)TeX for cross-references. MakeIndex, BibTeX, Biber, or makeglossaries will be executed if a corresponding option is set. Furthermore, cluttex can watch input files for changes (using an external program).
