BOOKbangla 1.0 — Writing Bangla and Assamese books with memoir Write your Bangla or Assamese book with familiar LaTeX commands, styled chapter headings, worked examples, exercises with hints and chapter quotations. BOOKbangla builds on memoir and LaTeXbangla: choose your fonts and bibliography style, and use memoir's commands to adapt the layout to your book. Bangla is the default; select language=assamese for an Assamese book. Read bookbangla.pdf for usage and examples in English, Bangla and Assamese. Install the class with its code/ folder in your local TeX tree, or copy them beside your document. Compile with XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, with LaTeXbangla 2.0 or newer installed. Bookbangla – Writing Bangla and Assamese books with memoir
BOOKbangla is a LaTeX document class for writing Bangla and Assamese books, built on memoir and LaTeXbangla. It provides:
- Four chapter designs, a title page, and page layouts.
- Numbered examples, theorems, and exercises with optional hints.
- Solutions, reminder boxes, chapter quotations and configurable lists.
- Author-selected fonts and bibliography styles, with further customization through memoir.
Supports XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX. Includes a manual in English, Bangla, and Assamese.
