pdf­tex – A ex­ten­sion for di­rect cre­ation of PDF

An ex­ten­sion of which can be con­fig­ured to di­rectly gen­er­ate PDF doc­u­ments in­stead of DVI. All cur­rent free dis­tri­bu­tions in­clud­ing Live, Mac and MiK in­clude pdf (Plain ) and pdf (). Cont was orig­i­nally de­signed around use of pdf, though nowa­days it is fo­cused on Lua).
