tex-it – Controller for TeX processing
texit.pl is a perl script for running TeX. It examines the log file of the TeX run and determines whether TeX needs to be run again; it runs BibTeX if necessary, and can be told to run Makeindex. Its “end-document” action may be selected from a menu, and includes a “tidy up” to delete all those scribble files.
