cahyph – Hyphenation patterns for the Catalan language
The macros used were created for ghyph31.tex by Bernd Raichle (see the German hyphenation pattern files for further details); the patterns were created using standard, conservative hyphenation rules for Catalan. The results were then refined by running them through patgen, which increased the number of hits.
The results were checked against “Diccionari Ortogràfic i de Pronúncia, Enciclopèdia Catalana”; no incorrect results were detected, and misses amounted to less than 1%.
For Catalan, both \lefthyphenmn and \righthyphenmin should be set to 2.
