bmpsize – Extract size and resolution data from bitmap files

This package analyzes bitmap images to extract size and resolution data. It adds this feature to the graphics package so it is no longer necessary to provide a separate bounding box files for bitmap images. Additionally the implementation for the inclusion of bitmap images in some drivers of package graphicx are rewritten to support options viewport, trim and clip. The package requires pdfTeX version 1.30.0 or later (the relevant pdfTeX primitive operates in both DVI and PDF output modes).
