Summary description: Typeset CJK in XeLaTeX
Announcement text:
This release fixes two spacing bugs in xeCJK’s inter-character glue handling. BUG FIXES - In the post-transparent move of the “marker + candidate glue” suffix, infinite-order stretch/shrink glue (`\hfill`/`\hfil` etc.) is now excluded via `\skip_if_finite:nTF`, so it is no longer incorrectly moved past the zero-size box. This fixes asymmetric fill when CJK text is immediately followed by a source space and `\hfill\null` (#1085). - Spacing inside brace groups now uses a “kern placeholder inside the box plus stretch/shrink appended at the word boundary” strategy, so that the shrink component of `\CJKecglue` and the stretch component of `\CJKglue` are correctly returned to the enclosing list (#1067). xeCJK – Typeset CJK in XeLaTeX
xeCJK is a package for typesetting documents in Chinese, Japanese or Korean with XeLaTeX. It provides CJK-specific automatic glue between CJK and non-CJK characters, full control over CJK punctuation compression, separate font families for CJK and Latin scripts, and a number of fine-grained typographic refinements for the CJK script.
