I have uploaded thumbpdf.zip in the /incoming directory
of ftp.dante.de. After unzipping it updates the files
in the directory
CTAN:support/thumbpdf/
The licence remains LPPL 1.2.
Version 3.1 is mainly a bug fix release:
* At error messages version 3.0 exits before
printing the message.
* Some minor bug fixes, see thumbpdf.pl.

Thanks for the upload. I installed it as suggested replacing the old
version in CTAN:/tex-archive/support/thumbpdf/

thumbpdf – Thumbnails for pdfTeX and dvips/ps2pdf
A Perl script that provides support for thumbnails in pdfTeX and dvips/ps2pdf. The script uses ghostscript to generate the thumbnails which get represented in a TeX readable file that is read by the package thumbpdf.sty to automatically include the thumbnails. This arrangement works with both plain TeX and LaTeX.
