script lug - manage Local User Group web pages

lug can be used to to (re-)create the web pages of the LUG database. This script must be executed in its own directory. After the script has been executed, this directory will contain the web site for the Electronic LUG Database (www.ntg.nl/lug). If you run lug for the first time, do so, with the -f option, in a directory containing the script only; it wil then create all needed files and directories in it. If you change anything in the files just created and want to keep those changes, run lug -c to store all changes in the lug script and remove all other files. Running lug -f again will then restore the files with the applied changes.

Download the contents of this package in one zip archive (133.7k).

lug – Create and edit Local User Group web pages

lug can be used to maintain the Local User Group web pages, currently located at www.ntg.nl/lug.

Without options specified, it reads key=value pairs, possibly embedded in the body of a mail as sent by a web form like here. You can feed the complete email (after saving it) to lug, or you can paste its content to standard input.
