Persian Calendar – Jalali (Persian) calendar: date conversion, calendars, and a year planner
This package converts dates between the Persian (Jalali, Solar Hijri) and the Gregorian calendar and prints them with Persian month names or as numbers. It also provides Julian day numbers for date arithmetic, the weekday of a Jalali date, and Persian names of the months, the weekdays and the years of the twelve-animal cycle.
For the TikZ calendar library, the package adds keys that lay out Jalali months with weeks from Saturday to Friday, and commands that print whole years in the manner of calxxxx-yyyy. A two-page year planner in the manner of yplan, with week numbers and notes, is included as well.
