sblbook – A class for SBL style print ready books

sblbook provides a class for producing articles and papers conforming to the style required by the Society of Biblical Literature. It depends on sblfonts for language support, biblatex-sbl for referencing, sblidx for indexing and bibleref-sbl for Scripture references.

Installation

The sblbook class is in Live and MiK and can be installed in the usual way through your distribution. E.g., in Live by running:

tlmgr install sblbook

For installation from GitHub, see https://github.com/dcpurton/sbltex.

Note that the example book, sbltex-book.tex, needs biblatex-sbl.bib which is distributed in the biblatex-sbl package.
