Smil – Create documents and more from simple texts

Smil is a small com­piler for win32 sys­tems, which takes sim­ple text files and cre­ates doc­u­ments and fur­ther­more PDF, DVI and HTML doc­u­ments from them. It au­to­mat­i­cally calls all tools nec­es­sary to in­clude nearly all types of im­ages and Ex­cel ta­bles, it rec­og­nizes equa­tions, hy­per­links, sec­tions, lists, spe­cial char­ac­ters, ref­er­ences, long com­ments, ta­ble of con­tents, col­ors, etc. Ad­di­tion­ally, it comes with a WinEdt high­light­ing scheme and menus.
