CTAN Update: ptserif
This package contains LaTeX support for the font PT Serif. - Added several Cyrillic letters to the encodings: 1) The letter "Cyrillic letter reversed ZE" was added to the slot for "Cyrillic letter epsilon". They are actually the same. Thanks to Vladimir Volovich for confirming this and for other useful comments about Cyrillic encodings. 2) Somewhat dirty is adding letters "Cyrillic letter short I with tail" and "Cyrillic letter short EM with tail" to the slots for the same letters but with "descender". They are similar but used by other languages. Related package: ptsans

ptserif – PT Serif font and LaTeX support
This package contains LaTeX support for the font PT Serif developed by ParaType for the project “Public Types of the Russian Federation”, and released under an open user license.
The fonts are included in this distribution, in TrueType format and as converted Type 1 format (as kindly allowed by ParaType). The fonts provide coverage of the T2* and X2 encodings, and partial coverage of T1 OT1, TS1 and IL2 (sufficient for typesetting text in Czech and Slovak languages — the purpose of encoding IL2).
This package is now obsolete; users should seek the paratype bundle in its place.
