On Sun, 10 Jun 2012, Robert Fuster submitted the
calculator
package.
Summary description: Use LaTeX as a scientific calculator.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:

The calculator and calculus package's define several instructions which allow us to realize algebraic operations and to evaluate elementary functions and derivatives in our documents. My main goal is to define the arithmetic and functional calculations need in my package "xpicture" (http://www.upv.es/~rfuster/xpicture), but the numeric abilities of "calculator" and "calculus" may be useful in other contexts.

This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/calculator . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/calculator (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .

Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
