This new release provides: - a new option `lgrmath' for using the lgrmath package of J.F. Burnol (Greek letters), - an improved management of square brackets with the ibrackets package, - a bug correction in the \Vect macro, - a macro \cosec that can be used instead of \csc, and \cosech for hyperbolic cosec, - no more systematic warnings, - a doc information that you must load frenchmath after babel-french when using LuaLaTeX.

frenchmath – Typesetting mathematics according to French rules

The package provides:

  • capital letters in roman (upright shape) in mathematical mode according to French rule (can be optionally disabled),
  • correct spacing in math mode after commas, before a semicolon and around square brackets,
  • some useful macros and aliases for symbols used in France: \infeg, \supeg, \paral, ...
  • several macros for writing french operator names like pgcd, ppcm, Card, rg, Vect, ...
  • optionally lowercase Greek letters in upright shape,
