CTAN Update: babel-french

Date: May 9, 2017 8:45:53 PM CEST
Daniel Flipo submitted an update to the babel-french package. Version: 3.3a 2017-04-30 License: lppl1.3 Summary description: Babel contributed support for French Announcement text:
New release for TL207, still compatible with TL2016. The management of punctuation spacing in LuaTeX has changed: former \FBcolonskip, \FBthinskip and \FBguillskip have been removed. All three engines now rely on the same commands \FBcolonspace, \FBthinspace and \FBguillspace. Further customisation of the \part{} command is provided via three new commands \frenchpartfirst, \frenchpartsecond, and \frenchpartnameord. An alias \frenchsetup{} for \frenchbsetup{} has been added in version 3.3a, it might appear more relevant in the future as the language name frenchb should vanish.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/babel-french The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/babel-contrib/french/
