CTAN update: babel-french

Date: November 13, 2022 5:18:20 PM CET
Daniel Flipo submitted an update to the babel-french package. Version: 3.5o License: lppl1.3 Summary description: Babel contributed support for French Announcement text:
- With the LuaTeX engine and \frenchsetup{og=«, fg=»}, coding «abc» or « abc » or «~abc~» now produces the same (correct) output in French. With pdfTeX or XeTeX «~abc~» still produces a wrong space after `«'. - \shorthandon and \shorthandoff are no longer redefined with the LuaTeX or XeTeX engines (it broke Babel's command \shorthandoff*).
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/babel-french The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/babel-contrib/french/
