Date: June 10, 2010 8:27:56 AM CEST
This should within a day be at your local mirror. Thanks again, Jim Hef{}feron Saint Michael's College ................................................................................ The following information was provided by our fellow contributor: Name of contribution: hrefhide Version number: 1.0b Author's name: Hans-Martin Münch Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/hrefhide Summary description: Provides the command \hrefdisplayonly . License type: lppl Announcement text:
This package provides the command \hrefdisplayonly (instead of \href). While the (hyperlinked) text appears like an ordinary \href in the compiled pdf-file, the same text will be "hidden" when printing the text. It is not really invisible, but just has the same colour as the background (default: white). Therefore the layout is not changed when printing the document.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/muench/hrefhide . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/pkg/hrefhide (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .

hrefhide – Suppress hyper links when printing

This package provides the command \hrefdisplayonly (which provides a substitute for \href). While the (hyperlinked) text appears like an ordinary \href in the compiled PDF file, the same text will be “hidden” when printing the text. (Hiding is actually achieved by making the text the same colour as the background, thus preserving the layout of the rest of the text.)
