CTAN update: libgreek

Date: November 15, 2022 8:45:17 AM CET
Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the libgreek package. Version number: 1.1 2022-11-11 License type: lppl1.3c Summary description: Greek letters in math mode from Libertinus or Linux Libertine/Biolinum Announcement text:
1.1 2022/11/11 This package allows to set the Greek letters in math mode to use the glyphs from the Libertinus Serif or Sans font, via support files for type1 provided by the libertinus-type1 package of Bob Tennent. All Greek letters are defined both in \...up and \...it variants. The style (ISO, TeX, or French i.e. upright) can be modified midway in the document. For a complete math solution, see rather libertinust1math. The initial 2011 release was set-up to use font files mapping to Linux Libertine or Biolinum, but the libertine-legacy package providing this has been obsolete for some years, and as a result this package was broken on new installations. The 2022 release has switched to using libertinus-type1 as it provides LGR-encoded fonts. The package will detect if libertine-legacy is present and will fall-back to the `legacy' code to ensure exact backwards compatibility for old documents on old systems.

libgreek – Greek letters in math mode from Libertinus or Linux Libertine/Biolinum

This package allows users (especially if using traditional /pdf) to set the Greek letters in math mode using the glyphs from the Libertinus Serif or Sans font via the font support files provided by Bob Tennent’s libertinus-type1 package. All Greek letters are defined both in \…up and \…it variants. The style (ISO, , or French i.e. upright) can be modified midway in the document.  A “legacy” mode uses font support from the (obsolete) libertine-legacy package which maps to the Linux Libertine or Biolinum fonts.

This package is for users who only want to customize Greek letters in math mode.
