Date: August 25, 2026 7:22:15 PM CEST
Scott Pakin submitted an update to the bundledoc package. Version: 3.7 License: lppl1.3c Summary description: Bundle together all the files needed to build a LaTeX document Announcement text:
bundledoc is a post-processor for the snapshot package that bundles together all the classes, packages, and files needed to build a given LaTeX document. It reads the .dep file that snapshot produces, finds each of the files mentioned therein, and archives them into a single .tar.gz (or .zip, or whatever) file, suitable for moving across systems, transmitting to a colleague, etc. Version 3.7 of bundledoc includes a modification by Paul van der Hulst to make the code more robust to special characters in filenames when used under Microsoft Windows.
This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/support/bundledoc More information is at https://ctan.org/pkg/bundledoc
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Manfred Lotz CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .

bundledoc – Bundle together all the files needed to build a document

The bundledoc package is a post-processor for the snapshot package that bundles together all the classes, packages and files needed to build a given document. It reads the .dep file that snapshot produces, finds each of the files mentioned therein, and archives them into a single .tar.gz (or .zip, or whatever) file, suitable for moving across systems, transmitting to a colleague, etc.

A script, arlatex, provides an alternative archiving mechanism, creating a single file that contains all of the ancillary files of a document, together with the document itself, using the filecontents* environment.
