CTAN Update: movie15
This package provides an interface to embed movies, sounds and 3D objects into PDF documents for use with LaTeX as well as pdfLaTeX. It follows the PDF-1.5 and PDF-1.6 specifications for embedding multimedia content. This is a bug-fix release: - Embedded sounds no longer obscure the underlying text when started. - Option `calculate' is now functional in Adobe Reader 8.
This package is located at http://dante.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/movie15/ . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/info/?id=movie15 (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . movie15 – Multimedia inclusion package
The package provides an interface to embed movies, sounds and 3D objects into PDF documents for use with LaTeX as well as pdfLaTeX.
The package defines a command \includemovie with PDF-1.5 compatibility. Option ‘autoplay’ causes the media clip to be started right after the page has loaded. This is useful for side by side movie clips to be played back synchronously.
The package is now superseded by media9
