CTAN update: xcolor 2.03

Date: June 7, 2005 10:59:51 AM CEST
On Tue, 7 Jun 2005 Uwe Kern submitted an update to the xcolor package, containing driver-independent color extensions for LaTeX and pdfLaTeX. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/xcolor/ License type: lppl Announcement text:
2005/06/06 v2.03 * New features: - `fixpdftex' option loads `pdfcolmk' package in order to improve pdfTeX's color behaviour during page breaks. * Changes: - some minor changes to internal macros. * Bugfixes: - due to an incorrect \if statement within \XC at info, \colorlet caused trouble whenever its second argument started with two identical letters, e.g., \colorlet{rab}{oof}; - argument processing of \XC at getcolor caused incompatibility with `msc' package; - `prologue' option caused incompatibility with `preview' package.
Thanks for the update. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

xcolor – Driver-independent color extensions for and pdf

The package starts from the basic facilities of the color package, and provides easy driver-independent access to several kinds of color tints, shades, tones, and mixes of arbitrary colors. It allows a user to select a document-wide target color model and offers complete tools for conversion between eight color models. Additionally, there is a command for alternating row colors plus repeated non-aligned material (like horizontal lines) in tables. Colors can be mixed like \color{red!30!green!40!blue}.
