xe­colour pack­age is a sim­ple pack­age which de­fines about 140 dif­fer­ent colours by XeTeX's colour fea­ture that can be used in bidi­rec­tional texts with­out any prob­lem. All the com­mand names are the names of the colours (i.e. \blue for blue colour) ex­cept ``\tan­colour'' for ``tan colour'' and the gen­eral syn­tax of the com­mand is \colour­name{<text>}

xe­colour – Sup­port for colour in XeLaTeX

This pack­age is a pre­de­ces­sor of the newer xe­color pack­age; but it was de­cided that it should re­main avail­able for the ben­e­fit of users wish­ing to run their old files us­ing xe­colour.
