linesys
linesys is a LaTeX package for converting augmented-matrix-style input into systems of linear equations or inequalities, and coefficient rows into linear expressions.
Requirements
The package loads:
amsmathxparsetikz
TikZ is used by the built-in \linesyscircled pivot highlighter selected by pivots=true.
Minimal example
\documentclass{article} \usepackage{linesys} \begin{document} \[ \begin{linesys} 2&-1&3\\ 0&4&-2 \end{linesys} \] Inline: \linexpr{1&2&-3}. \end{document}
The full user documentation is linesys-manual.pdf.
Building and testing
The project uses l3build:
l3build check l3build doc l3build ctan
l3build check runs the focused regression suite under pdfTeX, LuaTeX, and XeTeX. linesys-regression.tex is the larger visual regression document used for typography-sensitive checks that are not well represented by log output.

Linesys – Typeset linear systems and expressions from matrix-like input
linesys is a LaTeX package for converting augmented-matrix-style input into typeset systems of linear equations or inequalities. It also provides linear-expression rendering through the linexp environment and the \linexpr command, together with configurable variable generation, relation symbols, pivot selection and highlighting, selective styling wrappers, persistent defaults, and extensible lexical coefficient classification.
