The hep-reference package

Reference, citation, and footnote helpers

Introduction

The hep-reference package loads and configures hyperref, cleveref, and footnotebackref for high-energy physics documents. It hides and breaks links, fills PDF title and keyword metadata from the document title data, prevents unwanted line breaks before references and citations, adds footnote backlinks, and provides helper macros for text labels, subobject references, and named equation-like references.

Load the package with \usepackage{hep-reference}.
