cprotect-other.tex --------------------- Public domain. Author: Javier A. Múgica. Released on 2026/oct/06 The author may be reached as "javier" at aerotri.es (without the quotes). This package provides an alternative to cprotect. It defines the macro \cprotect, to be used in the same way as the one from the homonymous package. The one from this package avoids the .cpt auxiliary files that pollute the working directory and is not specific to Latex; it only needs eTeX. It is much faster than \cprotect, though you typically don't place many \cprotect in a project.

This package provides a \cprotect that does not generate the .cpt file nor needs LaTeX. eTeX is enough.
