promec-ufrgs – A LaTeX class for PROMEC/UFRGS theses and dissertations

The promec-ufrgs class extends abntex2 to provide the formatting required by the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering (PROMEC) at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, in compliance with Brazilian ABNT standards (NBR 14724, 6023, 10520, 6024, 6027, 6028). It packages package loading, the cover page, the approval page, and the sequence of pre-textual elements into the class itself, so that thesis/dissertation authors only need to edit their own data and content files, without risking the ABNT-compliant formatting.
