Date: April 26, 2020 6:16:21 PM CEST
Roberto Di Cosmo submitted the biblatex-software package. Version number: 1.0 License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: BibLaTeX stylefiles for software products Announcement text:
Software plays a significant role in modern research, and it must be properly acknowledged and referenced in scholarly works. To this end, specific bibliographic entries for describing software, software versions, software modules and code fragments have been designed by a dedicated task force at Inria in 2020 that brought together researchers from Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. This package implements these four software entry types for BibLaTeX in the form of a bibliography style extension. This means that one can add support for these four software entry types to any other BibLaTeX style used in documents typeset in LaTeX. It requires the Biber backend. Full documentation and examples are included in the package, as well as links to the repository where development takes place.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/biblatex-contrib/biblatex-software More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/biblatex-software
