Alexan­der Shibakov sub­mit­ted an up­date to the splint pack­age. Ver­sion: 1.05 2016-01-27 Li­cense: gpl3 Sum­mary de­scrip­tion: Write LALR(1) parsers in TeX us­ing bi­son and flex An­nounce­ment text:
Var­i­ous macro changes. A new man­ual has been added, de­tail­ing the de­vel­op­ment of an av­er­age size parser (for linker script files), in­dex­ing macros have been ex­panded to al­low in­dex­ing of names from sev­eral do­mains. A new parser in­ser­tion mech­a­nism has been writ­ten to make adding new parsers for use with CWEB more trans­par­ent. As usual, a num­ber of ty­pos, etc. have been cor­rected (and new ones prob­a­bly in­tro­duced).

The bun­dle pro­vides the means of build­ing parsers and scan­ners in . Bi­son and Flex are used to cre­ate the ta­bles that drive the au­tomata pro­grammed as macros.
