The second edition of TeX-FPC completes the switch from the GNU Pascal Compiler to the Free Pascal Compiler. It has all the features that Don Knuth suggested, is 300 % faster than the first edition and may serve as a Pascal only reference distribution of TeX even more so than the first edition, since extra modifications are undone.

TeX-FPC – A collection of change files for a TeX system based on Free Pascal
This is the followup to TeX-GPC, which is based on the GNU Pascal Compiler. GPC is not installable any more, so I switched to FPC, not because it is the best but because it is the only pascal compiler nowadays.
