CTAN update: linguex

Date: May 31, 2010 7:03:45 AM CEST
This should be at your local mirror within a day. Jim Hef{}feron Saint Michael's College ....................................................................... The following information was provided by our fellow contributor: Name of contribution: linguex Version number: 4.3 Author's name: Wolfgang Sternefeld Summary description: Several bugfixes. License type: lppl Announcement text:
1) Mysterious incompatability with beamer class removed by adding a strut to the definition of \label (for mysterious reasons must be done \AtBeginDocument). 2) Inconsistency with font selection removed by replacing the global \rm in the print out of grammaticality judgements with the local \textrm comand 3) Suggestions for replacing .66\baselineskip by \Extopsep (as done in version 4.0) were damaging. Returned to previous version. (Comment: I still don't understand the working of this, as the value .66\baselineskip of that dimension is totally arbitrary.)
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/linguex . linguex – Format linguists' examples

This bundle comprises two packages:

  • The linguex package facilitates the formatting of linguist examples, automatically taking care of example numbering, indentations, indexed brackets, and the ‘*’ in grammaticality judgments.
  • The ps-trees package provides linguistic trees, building on the macros of tree-dvips, but overcoming some of the older package’s shortcomings.
