CTAN Update: listings-ext
Date: June 29, 2010 10:11:12 PM CEST
On Tue, 29 Jun 2010 Jobst Hoffmann submitted an update to the
listings-ext
package.
Summary description: Automated input of source code (C, Java, LaTeX, ...) into LaTeX documents.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
The package provides means for marking up source code (e.g. C, C++, Fortran, Java, LaTeX, ...), so that samples of it may be included in a document (by macros of the listings package) in a stable fashion, regardless of any change to the source. The markup in the source text defines tags for blocks of source. These tags are processed by a shell script to make a steering file that is used by the package when LaTeX is being run. The author is Jobst Hoffmann. The package is Copyright 2008-2010 Jobst Hoffmann. If one is working with (X)emacs and AUCTeX the including of the parts is supported by listings-ext.el, a style file which knows the syntax of most of the commands from the listings-ext package. Version v67 of the package is supposed to work also on Mac OS X.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/listings-ext/ . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/info/?id=listings-ext (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html . Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
