robotkarol has been updated to version 4.0. The package now exchanges tasks with Robot Karol Online: task files downloaded from the online editor (JSON) can be read with \karoljsonlesen and set as worlds showing start and goal state in one picture (\karolweltaus, or quelle= on karolwelt), or turned into the LaTeX source one would otherwise type (\karolquelltext). Conversely, worlds marked with export=sheet/1 are written to a JSON file by \karoljsonschreiben and can be uploaded to Robot Karol Online; programs and check scripts of an imported task survive a round trip. Reading and writing need neither shell escape nor external tools. The interface lives in the new file robotkarol.lua. Documents not using it typeset exactly as with version 3.10.

Das Paket robotkarol zeichnet Welten und Blockprogramme im Stil von Robot Karol; für Arbeitsblätter, Präsentationen und Prüfungen. Welten können als 3D-Schrägbild oder als 2D-Draufsicht ausgegeben werden; Farben und Formen sind der Weboberfläche nachempfunden. Einzelne Blöcke lassen sich als Inline-Blöcke in den Fließtext setzen. Das Paket benötigt LuaLaTeX und expl3.
