Bug fixes * Allow again to load polyglossia at begindocument/before (#705). New Features * The languages selected in the language and other-languages keys in \DocumentMetadata are now used as main and other languages. You can suppress this with the metadata option (#699). * Support the (void) \cyr macro which is used in Russian hyperref captions. * Add the chinesecal package for typesetting dates in the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar, together with a calendar option and a \chinesedate command for the Chinese language (LuaLaTeX only).

polyglossia – An alternative to babel for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX
This package provides a complete Babel replacement for users of LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX; it relies on the fontspec package, version 2.0 at least.
