CTAN upload notification: Revise bst files for natbib
Date: January 7, 2005 5:36:29 PM CET
On Fri, 7 Jan 2005 Patrick Daly uploaded revised bst files for the natbib
package.
natbib is a Bibliography style with author-year and numbered references.
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/natbib
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
The natbib package comes with replacement bst files for 3 of the 4 standard BibTeX styles: plainnat, abbrvnat, unsrtnat. Until now, the ordering is exactly as for the original styles, which is not always appropriate for author-year citation. Especially when works have identical authors and years, as in a multipart paper, the original ordering has undesirable side effects. The revised style files improve on this.
Thanks for the update. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
