Since 2005 I am keenly interested in Latex, but since 2005 I could not produce Tikz example in my PC. By installing protext by your site I am able to produce Tikz examples in my PC. I have little to do with Sciences or Maths, but my boss is Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (a technical University). He told me about LaTeX and I decided to give it a try. Learning for Research

Finally had to formally learn this thing for a final lab report. This'll make typing my equations a breeze. Seriously, MS word is not fun to type in equations.

Beginning with Latex using Scrivener

I am beginning with Latex using Scrivener. Hopefully I can master my second step in finding fonts for my first book project based on my PDF documentation for my opensource project.

Primarly I am in search for some Adobe Type 1 fonts that are usable within Scrivener while being easy to integrate.

compile error without *

First of all thanks a lot for your job.

IMO the (pdf)latex compiling process should not give an error when no item* are marked in a multi[multiple] environment it should just check that the sum of fraction=x with x a positive integer is 100 (exactly like the one in the doc with prime integer which gives an error)

Although if I can compile with pdflatex the sourcefile using command like \R for \mathbb{R} once import in moodle it gives me nothing else than printing '\R' and seems to behave against the documentation, is it normal ?

How to contact the author of txfonts

Hi, I am re-installing a newer version of MacTex, and currently running a .tex script for AIP. I encounter an error message on Typeset window: 'txfonts.sty not found.

Does this version of txfonts work to solve this problem? -

I am just trying to avoid overwriting other existing files that may be working already. Thank You!
