New on CTAN: adhocfilelist
`adhocfilelist.sh' is a shell script to display a list of LaTeX \Provides... contents on screen. Parameters can be either a list of comma-separated file names or criteria for the Unix `find' utility, especially to restrict the list to LaTeX source files modified <digits> days ago, such as "today". Command line options provide interfaces to the find utility and to packages `myfilist', `longnamefilelist', and `nicefilist' for accessing and aligning those file informations. DOCUMENTATION: The manual `adhocfilelist.htm' can be read by a web browser, and the command line option `-h' provides an abridged version of it. REQUIRED: This works on Unix-like systems only, and probably the GNU version of `find' is required. The LaTeX bundle `fileinfo' must be installed, and full functionality requires the LaTeX packages `longnamefilelist' and `nicefilelist'.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/support/adhocfilelist . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/adhocfilelist (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . adhocfilelist – ‘\listfiles’ entries from the command line
The package provides a Unix shell script to display a list of LaTeX \Provides...-command contexts on screen. Provision is made for controlling the searches that the package does.
The package was developed on a Unix-like system, using (among other things) the gnu variant of the find command.
