Norbert Preining submitted an update to the tgothic package. Version: 2018-01-25 License: lppl Summary description: Gothic Textura Quadrata manuscript book-hand font Announcement text:
2018-01-25 Norbert Preining <norbert at preining.info> Change the name of the main font from tgothN to tgothrN to avoid name clash with Japanese TeX engines which also use tgoth. This change will break old dvi files, as well as old plain TeX files that explicitely ask for the font tgoth10 (etc). LaTeX files that use the style file interface are not concerned. Please direct complaints and suggestions concerning this change to Norbert Preining.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/tgothic The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/fonts/bookhands/tgothic/

tgothic – Gothic Textura Quadrata manuscript book-hand font

The tgothic and alltgoth packages provide fonts based on the Gothic Textura Quadrata manuscript book-hand used between the 13th and 15th century AD. The font consists of minuscules and digits, with some appropriate period punctuation marks. Both normal and bold versions are provided.

This is one of a set of manuscript fonts. Access to the docmfp package is desirable but not essential.
