Marcel Jira submitted an update to the progressbar package. License type: lppl Announcement text:
Robin Schneider and Heiko Oberdiek pointed out a bug in the previous versions. I replaced \progressbar at LoadFile@IfExist with \RequirePackage .
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/progressbar . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/progressbar (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

progressbar – Visualize shares of total amounts in the form of a (progress-)bar

This package allows you to easily visualize shares of total amounts in the form of a bar. So basically you can convert any number between 0 and 1 to a progressbar using the command \progressbar{<number>}. Also a lot of customizations are possible, allowing you to create an unique progressbar on your own.

The package uses TikZ to produce its graphics.
