This should be at your local mirror. Thanks again Jim Hef{}feron Saint Michael's College .................................................................................. The following information was provided by our fellow contributor: Name of contribution: NumericPlots Version number: 0.9 Author's name: Thomas Koenig, Alexander Michel Location on CTAN: /graphics/numericplots Summary description: package to plot numeric data using pstricks (including Matlab export) License type: gpl Announcement text:
Plotting numeric data is a task which often has to be done for scientific papers. In \LaTeX, however, it is only possible to include graphics created with an external program. The pstricks-packages provide very many commands to generate graphics in \LaTeX. To generate simple graphics from numeric data, however, it is difficult to use. This package provides a simpler interface for the pstricks-package to plot numeric data. Additionally, it contains some Matlab functions to export such numeric data from Matlab for easy plotting of Matlab data in LaTeX.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/graphics/numericplots . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/pkg/numericplots (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . numericplots – Plot numeric data (including Matlab export) using PSTricks

Plotting numeric data is a task which has often to be done for scientific papers. itself provides no facilities for drawing more than the simplest plots from supplied data.

The package will process user input, and uses PSTricks to plot the results.

The package provides Matlab functions to transform Matlab results to plottable data.
