The XML output from show-pdf-tags has been extended to show the PDF version as <PDF version="2.0">. The Schema has been updated to optionally allow this attribute, and if present enforce that it has value 2.0 for the PDF/UA-2 schema or 1.4, .. 1.7 or 2.0 for the UA-1 schema. In addition several new structure elements that are introduced in the current latex-dev release are now supported by the schema.

Show-PDF-tags – Extract PDF tags from tagged PDF files
This package provides a tool to make the structure of tagged PDF files visible. It parses a PDF file and extracts most tagging related information to turn it into either a visual tree structure or an XML document representing the tags.
The package is released together with a collection of schemas which can be used to check that the resulting XML structure follows specified rules.
