New on CTAN: TrainMap
We are pleased to announce TrainMap, a new TikZ-based LaTeX package designed for typesetting railway line schematics and transit network diagrams. TrainMap is an open-source LaTeX package built on TikZ for designing schematic railway line maps and public transport networks. It abstracts complex vector graphics into high-level declarative commands, allowing users to draw straight and branching rail lines using pgfkeys styling. The package provides native commands for rendering intermediate stations with angled labels (45°) and terminal stations highlighted with bold typography and line-code badges.
