Texchanges provides a LaTeX-native review workflow for authors, reviewers, and automated editing tools. Version 0.2.4 adds a unified Overleaf-ready bundle containing explicit review and word-level latexdiff workflows with a conditional latexmkrc. The package supports named authors, stable change IDs, decisions, filtered reports, visual styles, localization, and optional compatibility commands for users moving from changes. Change reports appear only in review mode.

texchanges – LaTeX-native tracked changes with review decisions and reports
This package provides explicit tracked-change markup for LaTeX and Overleaf. It supports additions, removals, replacements, highlights, comments, authors, stable change IDs, decision statuses, filtered review reports, localization, visual presets, and an optional compatibility layer for the changes package. Native replacement commands use an old-to-new argument order.
The distribution includes texchanges-merge, a standard-library Python tool for accepting, rejecting, filtering, and permanently resolving marked changes.
