spim-phdthesisthemes – Classes, styles and configuration files for writing PhD dissertations
LaTeX classes, packages and configuration files for typesetting a PhD dissertation following the SPIM doctoral school template and recommandations.
Built on top of the powerful UPmethodology suite, it provides a professional, ready-to-use structure with advanced formatting macros.
These classes packages and configuration files could be easily extended and adapted to the style for your own institution.
spim-phdthesisthemes is part of the larger project TeX-templates.
Note on Licensing
The package contains two distinct types of material:
- LaTeX source code (all files that are under the src/ directory and any documentation source files).
- University and institutions logo images (all files under the logos/ directory).
The LaTeX source code is free software: You can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. A copy of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPLv3) is provided in the file `LICENSE.LGPLv3`.
The logo files are not licensed under the LGPLv3. They are the property of their respective university or institution and are included with permission for redistribution only as part of this complete package. They may NOT be modified, altered, or extracted and used separately without explicit written permission from the owning university or institution. The exact terms governing the logos are set forth in the file logos/LICENSE.logos. By redistributing this package, you agree to abide by those terms.
