CTAN update: abnTeX2-ufv
abntex2-ufv 1.7: LaTeX class for undergraduate theses at UFV (Brazil) Version 1.7 of abntex2-ufv, a class built on abnTeX2 for the final theses (TCC) of the Information Systems program at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Rio Paranaíba campus, following the UFV normalization manual (2026-2 edition; ABNT NBR 14724/2025, 6023/2025 and 10520/2023). Changes in this release: * Minimal class: it now loads only what it needs itself (fontenc, indentfirst, acro, silence, etoolbox). graphicx, csquotes, microtype, booktabs, tabularx, multirow, biblatex and xurl moved to the document preamble, as in the template, so that editors such as TeXstudio and LaTeX Workshop recognize their commands. Breaking for documents written for 1.5/1.6 (see CHANGES.md and the guide). * Class options use the kernel \DeclareKeys (LaTeX 2022-06 or newer); the option nobiblatex is obsolete and ignored with a warning. * New defaults, which the document can override: link colors, PDF metadata taken from \titulo, \autor and the preamble note, \frenchspacing, \urlstyle{same}. * Fixed: the ilustracao environment with an optional width, e.g. \begin{ilustracao}[\linewidth], typesets its content in a minipage of that width, so listings no longer overflow the margin and breaklines works. * Fixed: the listings patch for an indented \end{lstlisting} is now applied. * Fixed: removed spurious warnings from hyperref (\uppercase in appendix bookmarks) and from memoir (deprecated \settocpreprocessor). * Documentation and template: monospaced font FiraMono with lining figures (works with pdfLaTeX, LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX), listings guide, migration notes; new regression tests.

abnTeX2-ufv – Undergraduate thesis class for UFV (Brazil), based on abnTeX2
abntex2-ufv is a LaTeX class, built on top of the abnTeX2 class, for undergraduate final theses (TCC) of the Information Systems program at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Rio Paranaíba campus, Brazil. It implements the formatting rules of the UFV normalization manual (2026-2 edition; ABNT NBR 14724/2025, NBR 6023/2025 and NBR 10520/2023): page layout, fonts, section headings, cover, title and approval pages, abstract, lists of figures/tables/charts/code, acronym list (via acro), glossary, figure/table/chart captions with source and notes, and BibLaTeX-abnt tweaks. The class sets the defaults (12pt, A4, one-sided, Brazilian Portuguese) and loads the packages every thesis needs. The customization package abntex2-ufv.sty is loaded by the class; using it directly on top of abntex2 is deprecated since version 1.5 and will be discontinued in version 2.0. The documentation (in Portuguese) contains a complete example thesis, and an empty template is included.
