This package has been updated on tug.ctan.org and should within a day or two make its way to your preferred mirror. Thanks for the update, Jim Hefferon ====================================================================== The following information was provided by the package's contributor. Name of contribution: breakurl 0.03 Author's name: Vilar Camara Neto Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/breakurl Summary description: The breakurl is an extension to hyperref package that allows line-breakable \url-like links when compiling via latex + dvips + ps2pdf. License type: lppl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This version corrects a bug that prevented the use of the pdfeTeX engine (which is the default for some teTeX distributions). Also, there's a new package option, `vertfit', which controls the behaviour of the link rectangle's height (and depth). - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can have a look at the package at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/breakurl although you may get a better network connection by visiting a mirror of CTAN that is near to you; see http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/README.mirrors

breakurl – Line-breakable \url-like links in hyperref when compiling via dvips/ps2pdf

This package provides a command much like hyperref’s \url that typesets a URL using a typewriter-like font. However, if the dvips driver is being used, the original \url doesn’t allow line breaks in the middle of the created link: the link comes in one atomic piece. This package allows such line breaks in the generated links.
