Summary description: Support for American Chemical Society journal submissions
Announcement text:
This release marks achemso as largely historical: the ACS are moving to a simplified template based on article, and the biblatex style chem-acs is a better choice for new documents for bibliographies.
This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/achemso More information is at https://ctan.org/pkg/achemso
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Manfred Lotz CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .

achemso – Support for American Chemical Society journal submissions
The bundle provides a BibTeX style file following the requirements of the American Chemical Society (ACS), and a package to pass settings to the BibTeX style. It also includes a class which was used for submission support in the past.
All of this material is largely of historical interest and is retained for stability. For new material, the chem-acs style is available for bibliographies, and a short template for the ACS website is better suited to submission.
