This is a ma­jor up­date of the Ebib pack­age. Ebib is a BibTeX database man­ager that runs in Emacs. The two ma­jor im­prove­ments of the cur­rent ver­sion are that it now runs in XE­macs as well, and that one can open mul­ti­ple .bib-files si­mul­ta­ne­ously. ebib – BibTeX database man­ager for GNU Emacs

Ebib is a BibTeX database man­ager that runs in GNU Emacs and XE­macs. With Ebib, you can cre­ate and man­age .bib-files, all within Emacs. It sup­ports @string and @pream­ble def­i­ni­tions, multi-line field val­ues, search­ing, and in­te­gra­tion with Emacs' mode.
