shortvrb – Abbreviated verbatim commands

The pack­age de­fines a com­mand \MakeShortVerb that makes a sin­gle char­ac­ter ac­tive, ex­pand­ing to give the ef­fect of a \verb com­mand. Thus, af­ter \MakeShortVerb{\|}, the text |stuff| has the same ef­fect as \verb|stuff|.
