Date: September 25, 2004 1:17:06 PM CEST
Two related packages have been updated on tug.ctan.org and should have already appeared at your favorite mirror. Thank you for the update, Jim Hefferon ====================================================================== The following information was provided by the package's contributor. Name of contribution: NCCLATEX bundle Author's name: Alexander I Rozhenko Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/ncclatex, macros/latex/contrib/ncctools Summary description: Improved support for Cyrillic License type: lppl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Using non-ASCII symbols in math mode is very limitted in LaTeX (e.g. cyrillic letters simply disappear when they typesetted in math mode). This leads to many errors in typesetting LaTeX papers, especially for papers converted from MS Word. The introduced light version of CP1251 input encoding, cp1251-light, allows using common cyrillic letters in label names and solves the problem of typesetting common cyrillic letters in math mode. - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can have a look at the packages at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/ncclatex and http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/ncctools although you may get a better network connection by visiting a mirror of CTAN that is near to you; see http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/README.mirrors .
